Extension period for retired to join social security scheme expected in February
The Social Security Office has announced that the process of issuance of a royal decree to extend the period for retired person to apply for social security would take about two months.
As a result, the office expects that the retired people from 60 years of age can join the social security scheme under the provision of Article 40 by registering themselves around February 7 to 16.
The initial registration period expired on December 8 and the prime minister ordered the extension.
