Anupong to launch Bangkok bike lane project as New Year present
Interior Minister Anupong Paochinda said Friday that his ministry will launch a Bangkok bike lane project after December 20 as a New Year present for Bangkokians.
Other presents would be more efficient garbage collection, improved transparency and services at local administrative organisations and state agencies under the ministry, including the Land Department, he added.
“After December 20, the bike lane project should be able to start in Bangkok,” Anupong said, adding that the Interior Ministry is working with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to implement the project.
