Policeman killed, two defence volunteers injured in Pattani ambush
Insurgents ambushed a patrol unit of policemen and volunteers in Pattani's Nongchik district late Thursday night, killing a police officer and injuring two volunteers.
Pol Captain Khamnueng Suwanyuha was killed in the ambush on a main road in Tambon Tuyong about half an hour after midnight.
