Cambodian arrested for smuggling in fake football club jerseys
A Cambodian worker was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly smuggling 4,440 fake jerseys of leading English football clubs from Cambodia to Rong Klua Market in Sa Kaeo province.
The jerseys were in 15 large sacks and were declared as used clothes. They included 1,100 Manchester United jerseys, 790 Arsenal jerseys and 200 Chelsea jerseys.
The worker told police he did not know who owns the jerseys. He was hired to take them to the market only.
