NBTC orders digital TVs to use same audio level for ads, programmes
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission has issued a directive, telling terrestrial digital TVs to use the same audio level for both advertisements and programmes. The directive took effect on Sunday, said NBTC secretary general Thakor
He said the order was aimed at protecting viewers as TV operators tended to air advertisements louder.
