Chamlong, Sondhi, 8 others charged in court
Public prosecutors Tuesday filed charges against Chamlong Srimuang, Sondhi Limthongkul, Suriyasai Katasila, Pipop Thongchai and six others for allegedly violating the state of emergency in February 2011 by organising a demonstration.
The ten defendants held a rally at the Chamai Maruchet Bridge although the Abhisit government declared the state of emergency and banned rallies. The ten were temporarily released after the charges were filed against them.
