One Direction asked to take drug test in Philippines

Manila (dpa) - A Philippine anti-drugs group has said British boy band One Direction should be stopped from playing a scheduled concert until its members take a drugs test, news reports said Thursday.

The group called Fight of the Filipino Family requested a temporary restraining order ahead of the concerts in Manila on March 21-22.
"We love One Direction," Cherry Ching, a lawyer for the anti-drugs group, said on ABS-CBN News Channel. "Personally, I would love to watch them. But the drugs, that's the issue."
Last year, members of the group were filmed smoking marijuana during their tour in Peru. Their On the Road Again tour has been sold out since last year, with tickets for the Manila show going for 25 to 400 dollars.
