Top resignations at Dtac have no impact

Total Access Communication (DTAC) says the resignations of some veteran executives at the same time recently had no impact on its business operations and strategies.

“As there has been news reported about recent management changes at DTAC, the company wishes to clarify that people changes in an organisation of DTAC’s size happen periodically and result in no impact on the strategy or the operations of the company,” it said in a statement.
“DTAC has a strong management team and we continue to strengthen our organisational capabilities with the objective of delivering the best and most innovative Internet services to our customers,” it added.
Among the veteran executives who have tendered their resignations were Pakorn Pannachet and Chaiyot Chirabowornkun, both in charge of key strategic projects.
DTAC is the country’s second-largest cellular operator. Last week it announced that it planned to boost its 4G subscriber base to 2.5 million by the end of the year, from around 970,000 currently.
