Four Thais, one foreigner injured in Samui car bomb blast

Surat Thani - A bomb hidden in a car parked at the Central Festival Samui exploded late Friday night, injuring five people, including a foreigner. Four other Thais fainted because of the shock.

Police said the blast occurred at 10:30 pm. The car that was parked at the underground car park of the store was completely damaged. The truck used a false license plate.
The occasion occurred while the store was about to close.
Surat Thani Governor Chatpong Chatphum said the attacker hid the bomb in a Honda Jazz that used a fake license plate of Chon Buri.
The blast also damaged over 10 other cars.
The five injured were identified as:
1) Sudarat  Deepenkaew, 32 –left arm injured
2) Ritthichai Thepkaew, 33 – right leg injured
3) Tidarat Churad, 30, back and right ankle injured
4) Velentino Diogolio, 22
5) Santiphan Meenert, 22
