Minor quakes happens in Chiang Mai, Myanmar
A 2.4-magnitude earthquake happened in Chiang Mai's Mae Chaem district at 11:56 am Thursday, the Seismology Bureau of the Meteorological Department reported.
The quake’s epicenter was five kilometers below the earth’s surface.
The bureau also reported that a 3.0-magnitude quake happened in Myanmar at 1:02 pm Thursday. Its epicenter was 10 kilometer deep and was 147 kilometers northwest of Mae Hong Son.
