Four rangers injured in ambush in Narathiwat
Muslim insurgents ambushed a patrol unit of eight rangers in Narathiwat's Sukhirin disrict at 11 am Friday, injuring four of them. Two of them were badly injured.
The rangers were patrolling the road and they were fired at when they came near the Ban Nam Thurien school. The two sides exchanged gunfire for about ten minutes before the insurgents retreated.
