Measures to combat dengue fever unveiled
Eight government agencies yesterday joined forces to launch measures aimed at preventing dengue fever by eradicating mosquito breeding grounds and controlling dengue fever among target groups.
This collaboration is held to mark Asean Dengue Fever Day on June 15 every year.
At the permanent secretary’s office of the Public Health Ministry, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration along with the Public Health Ministry, the Tourism and Sports Ministry, the Natural Resources, the Environment Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Culture Ministry and the Industry Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding for the implementation of dengue fever prevention measures from yesterday till June 15, 2019.
