Two South Korean men have been arrested for running an online gambling website from a rented apartment in Bangkok's Phra Khanong district, police announced yesterday.
Lee Jaeyoung, 39, and Lee Jaemin, 31, were nabbed on Wednesday night along with evidence, including two computer notebooks, two desktop computers and six one-time password (OTP) devices, Thong Lor superintendent Pol Colonel Kajornpong Jitpakpoom said.
The duo allegedly confessed to managing South Korean online gamblers’ accounts, which had about Bt200,000 flowing in every month, police said. They were paid a salary of Bt45,000 each.
