Couple shot by Muslim insurgents in Yala, killing husband
A married couple were ambushed by Muslim insurgents on their way to a rubber plantation in Yala's Krong Penang district at 7:30 am Sunday, killing the husband and severely injured the wife.
Police said Wanchai Yoodee, 45, died at the scene on on a village road in Ban Ladu village. His Muslim wife, Tairoh Sameh, 45, was rushed to the Krong Penang Hospital and had to be forwarded to the Yala Hospital.
