Songkhla man arrested with 150 pangolins in Phetchaburi

A 41-year-old man from Songkhla was arrested after he refused to stop at a road checkpoint in Mueng Phetchaburi district early Monday.

Following a car chase at 1:30 am, police arrested Muhammad Mud-adam, a civilian defence volunteer for Songkhla's Bangklam district, and found 150 pangolins in 40 boxes and eight bags in the Toyota Fortuner driven by him. He said was simply hired to drive the SUV to Ayutthaya.
