Malaysian Police set to interview former PetroSaudi exec
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police have submitted a request to interview former PetroSaudi International executive Xavier Andre Justo for allegedly relaying incorrect information on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) to Sarawak Report.
Inspector General of Malaysian Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) said police will be recording Justo’s statement before deciding on the next course of action.
“We are working closely with Thai authorities on the matter. We have to wait for them to conclude their investigations on the subject, Justo.
“Give them time to complete their investigations,” he told reporters at Bukit Aman on Monday.
Khalid added that the Thai assistant police chief would be visiting Malaysia on July 2 to discuss the matter.
“We will hold discussions on the next course of action to be taken against Justo,” he said.
