Students going Dutch

A large number of Thai students are ready to further their studies in the Netherlands, the Nuffic Neso Thailand (Netherlands Education Support Office) said yesterday.

The office had organised a special pre-departure briefing for over 60 Thai students – who aim to pursue their bachelors or masters’ degrees in various fields, including Business and Economics, Technology Design and Food Science – at the Netherlands Embassy in Bangkok last Friday. Dutch ambassador Karel Hartogh welcomed all students for this occasion.
The Netherlands boasts a world-class higher education system with 12 of its universities represented in the top 200 of the Times World University Ranking. The country was also reportedly the first in the European Union to offer a large variety of study programmes taught in English.
