PM orders social development ministry to find houses for 4 million homeless people
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Tuesday that he has instructed the Social Development and Human Security Ministry to find houses for some 4 million homeless people.
He said the ministry will have to draft a long-term strategy how to house the 4 million people. Their housing may be done in five or ten years.
He said the ministry has so far housed some 1.3 homeless families in housing units that could not be sold or the buyers have abandoned.
