Belgian man kills himself in Phuket

According to police records, the passport of the 60-year man was found in his room together with notes. One was addressed to his Thai girlfriend and the other to the manager of his restaurants. 

Pawinee Suksaen, his girlfriend, told police that the man opened three restaurants in Patong Beach. Slow business led to huge losses. Before he hung himself, he had some drinks and chased her out of the room, saying he wanted to be alone. 

In the note to the restaurant manager, he instructed the manager to sell the assets and clear debts.
