The Employment Department today re-opened the registration for workers from Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia in fishery sector,
The registration to be taken in 22 coastal provinces will continue until January 30 next year.
Fees for the registration are Bt3,180 which included a medical check-up for Bt500, health insurance for Bt1,600 and work permit for Bt1,000.
Employers are obliged to prepare documents and have their foreign workers applied for a work permit from the department at the One Stop Service Center for Foreign Worker Registration.
If the employers fail to do so within the deadline, their legal right to hire foreign workers will be revoked and they will be held guilty by law.
