Thai woman claims foreign husband cheated her
A 53-year-old Thai woman who claims her Danish husband cheated her of a majority of shares worth Bt100 million in a Koh Samui resort filed a complaint with the Economic Crime Suppression Division Tuesday.
After filing another complaint on Sunday at Nonthaburi’s Muang Police Station, Thiamchan Hanlakhon Fuesday urged division superintendent Pol Colonel Wachira Phayanoi to investigate the allegedly illegitimate transfer of her 51-per-cent stake and the removal of her name from the firm’s board in 2009.
Thiamchan said she had filed five police complaints and won every trial last year, so she was now requesting police help to retrieve her shares.
Wachira said he would include Thiamchan’s documents in a police report before investigating if the share transfers were legal and who was involved in alleged wrongdoing.
