Man surrenders after killing three over parking

A 34-year-old man who allegedly shot dead three neighbours in Bangkok’s Khan Na Yow district over a row about parking space on Monday surrendered to police on Tuesday night.

Acting Metropolitan Police chief Pol Maj-General Sanit Mahathavorn said. Tossaporn Pitakwattananont was also taken to the scene to re-enact the crime yesterday with some 30 policemen providing security. Sanit said the suspect confessed to the triple murders and claimed he had been arguing with his neighbours over parking issues over the past two years. On the day of the shooting, he claimed to have argued with shop owners Sirilak Sae-hor, 46, and her Cambodian worker over the same problem, and Sirilak apparently scolded him and lobbed a bottle at his wife. He said he was so infuriated by this that he shot dead the two people as well as another neighbour, Moloh Bin-umat, 48, with the gun he had bought for collection. Tossaporn said the incident occurred because he could not control his anger and would not do it if he could turn back time.
