Gas-driven boats barred on Saen Saeb Canal
The Marine Department has suspended all gas-driven taxi boats from providing services on Saen Saeb Canal following the blast yesterday.
Nat Chubchai, deputy director-general of the department, said that any violation would lead to licence revocation.
Today, he led a team to inspect 45 boats operated by Family Transport Co Ltd. The company owns the boat that exploded yesterday. After the inspection, he said the boats were generally in good condition.
