Average O-Net results ‘better, but still low’

The five O-Net subjects are maths, science, English, Thai and social studies, religion and culture.

Assoc Prof Samphan Phanphruk, director of the National Institute of Educational Testing Service (NIETS), said Monday the only subject in which any student scored the maximum of 100 points was mathematics, while the average score for that subject was 26.56. Average scores for the other four subjects ranged between 24.98 and 49.36.
