100 houses damaged, two injured by Buri Ram hail storm
About 100 houses were damaged and two persons were injured when a tambon in Buri Ram was battered by a hailstorm Sunday evening.
Provincial officials and workers of Tambon Nongsai Administrative Organisation joined hands with Buri Ram Army officers to help villagers in Tambon Nongsai, Nang Rong, district Monday.
The officials repaired damaged houses, removed tree branches and fallen trees.
Several power poles and fell down because of the storm, blacking out 14 villages in the tambon.
The two injured villagers suffered head and leg injuries because they were hit by some objects during the strong wind.
