Prayut sacks Fishery Department chief
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has invoked his special power as the junta chief to sack the Fishery Department director general.
Prayut invoked the power of Article 44 of the interim as the chief of the National Council for Peace and Order to remove Wimol Chanthararothai and transfer him to the specially-created inspector general post at the PM’s Office.
The same order, which was published in the Royal Gazette Wednesday, promoted Adisorn Prompthep, deputy Fishery chief, as the new director general of the department.
