21 Thai tourists hit by foods poisoning on Koh Lipe

Twenty Thai tourists were rushed to the health clinic on the popular tourist destination Liepe island late Monday night after they suffered from foods poisoning.

Five of them had to receive intravenous solution because they vomited and got diarrhoea.
Doctor Jaraspong Sukkree, Satun chief public health officer, said most of the tourists returned to their bungalows after they received the treatment. Only five of them stayed for the intravenous solution.
Jaraspong said the tourists were hit by foods poisoning apparently because they had lunch that was prepared in the morning for them to eat during their island trip.
