Vietnamese man held for stealing passenger’s bag
A Vietnam national was arrested in Bangkok’s Khao San area for allegedly stealing another passenger’s valuables at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, police and security personnel told a press conference yesterday. The man, |however, maintains his innoce
Airport security chief Kittipong Kittakhajorn said the 60-year-old suspect Tran Nho Tien was seen on CCTV suspiciously circling luggage carousel No 8, which was not where luggage from his flight was being released, and allegedly stealing a Thai traveller’s bag.
The bag contained 1,100 euro (Bt43,600) in cash, two credit cards, passport, national ID, as well as a pair of sunglasses and a wallet.
