	Land architect and FOR co-founder Yossapon Boonsom said the study for the project would be conducted over seven months, so it was unlikely it would yield a good project implementation.&nbsp;</div>

	He said given the Chao Phraya River was for everyone, a project such as the promenade must require the participation and input of varying voices including affected communities.&nbsp;</div>

	He said the BMA should arrange a process where all sides could jointly set a direction for the river&rsquo;s development so there would be an alternative to the master plan that would be acceptable to society before the design and construction began.&nbsp;</div>

Forum opposes Chao Phraya promenade project

The non-profit organisation, Friends of the River (FOR), and the Association of Siamese Architects jointly hosted a public forum yesterday to seek opinions on the drafting of the Chao Phraya River sustainable development plan.
