Suspect shoots himself, rushed to hospital
Dr Wanchai Danaitamonut, the suspected gunman who allegedly killed two colleagues, shot himself Thursday evening.
He shot himself at about 6:44 pm after he was besieged by police at noon at a Bangkok hotel.
Police rushed medical staffs to help him and took him away in an ambulance.
The ambulance was waiting outside and rushed in shortly after a gunfire was heard. He was rushed to the Paolo Memorial Hospital.
Wanchai shot himself while he was walking to the other side of the Suparp Hotel in Saphan Kwai’s area.
