Bhutan King grants audience to HRH Princess Sirindhorn

His Majesty the King of Bhutan granted an audience to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand at the Tashichhodzong Tuesday. 

 

The Princess was escorted to the Dzong in a traditional Chipdrel (procession) ceremony to receive the audience with His Majesty. His Majesty and the Princess offered prayers and lit 1,000 butterlamps for the good health and long life of the  King of Thailand His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Grand Kuenrey (sacred grand chapel) of the 17th century fortress. 

 

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhron is in Bhutan for a 4-day official visit.
