AOT approves Chiang Mai airport's development master plan
The Airports of Thailand’s (AOT) board of directors Wednesday approved the master plan for the development of Chiang Mai airport.
The project will be carried out in two phases. The first, set for 2016 to 2025, is aimed to boost the airport’s passenger capacity to serve 18 million travellers a year. In the second phase , from 2026 to 2030, capacity will be further increased to serve 20 million passengers per year, of which 8 million international passengers and 12 million domestic travellers.
