No-one hurt by 2 bombs in Pattani

The first bomb went off about 6am, damaging at a public library in Panare. About 7.30am, another bomb was set off on the second floor of a new office of the Provincial Electricity Authority at Ban Tabae in Mayo district. 

Ordnance disposal police to examined the two sites for other bombs but found nothing. Overnight, there were two incidents around 11.30pm Sunday in Mayo district. A power transformer at Baluka Tue-ngo village in tambon Lubo Yiri was shot at. A car tyre was set on fire at a bridge near Ban Lako in tambon Mayo and a few gun shots were heard. Nobody was hurt in the two minor incidents, which police said were obviously intended only to cause a disturbance.
