Bone mass test shows six more sex workers under 18

Mahidol University’s Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital Saturday revealed bone mass test results, indicating that six more sex workers - rounded up from the Nataree Entertainment massage parlour raid last Tuesday - were under 18 years old.

When combined to the nine underage girls rescued in the raid, the number of girls under 18 who would be automatically placed as human trafficking victims in this case rose to 15 totally.
The six minors – comprised of two 15-year-olds, one 16-year-old and three 17-year olds – were among 12 sex workers whose age and position in the criminal case (as human trafficking victims or prostitute suspects) were pending further test. The raid had rounded up a total of 121 sex workers –among them Myanmar, Laos and Cambodian nationals and ethnic minorities.
