Bangkok’s voter turnout 51.55 per cent
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration announced Monday that the voter turnout in the capital for the charter referendum was 51.55 per cent.
The BMA announced that 2.294 million of 4.45 million eligible voters exercised their voting right.
The BMA said there were 35,706 invalid ballots or 1.56 per cent of the cast ballots.
It said 1.538 million voters supported the draft while 677,582 voted against it. The BMA added that 1.440 million voters voted in support of the additional question while 747,408 others voted against it.
