	Former Phangnga Provincial Land Officer Tawatchai Anukul was found dead on Tuesday morning. He had apparently hanged himself with his sock.</div>

	DSI deputy director-general Songsak Raksaksakul said that officers had arrested Tawatchai on Monday and he was to be brought before the Criminal Court on Tuesday. It was reported that he was suffering anxiety and stress while in custody and by the time the officers checked his cell, it was too late to save him.</div>

	Songsak said DSI had already set up a committee to investigate Tawatchai&rsquo;s death.</div>

Suspect in Land Deed case allegedly kills himself

Just a day after being arrested, the suspect in the land deed corruption case allegedly committed suicide while in the custody of the Department of Special Investigation.
