Security drones in South mulled
MILITARY drones may be deployed to bolster security in the deep South following a bomb attack in Pattani targeting a train in the region, Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan suggested Monday.
Prawit, who is also defence minister, said the government had special equipment such as unmanned aerial vehicles and all armed forces were ready for operations in the insurgency-wracked area.
