Justin Bieber to tour Australia and New Zealand

Sydney - Canadian pop-superstar Justin Bieber will visit Australia and New Zealand in March as part of his current world tour on the back of his fourth studio album "Purpose", organisers Frontier Touring said Tuesday.

Bieber will perform in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in Australia as well as in Auckland, New Zealand.

The tour will be Bieber's first full-scale visit to Australia since 2013. Last year he performed to a limited audience on Sydney's Cockatoo Island during a brief promotional visit.

It will also be his first stadium tour to the two countries as his earlier performances took place in smaller arenas.

Dutch DJ Martin Garrix will join Bieber's tour as a support act.

Bieber released his latest album "Purpose" in November, which debuted at number one worldwide. More than eight million copies have already been sold, according to Frontier Touring.

The album includes hit singles "Sorry" and "Love Yourself."

Bieber has already taken his "Purpose" world tour to the US, and will travel throughout Europe, including Germany, in the coming months.
