Suspects for Mothers’ Day |bombings face additional charge

THREE men sought in relation to the August 12 bombings in Hua Hin will also face a charge of “conspiring for attempted murder” to offences they already face, deputy national police chief Pol General Srivara Rangsipramanakul said Tuesday.

Srivara, who led the investigation into the spate of bomb and arson attacks on August 11 and 12 in seven provinces popular with tourists, submitted a request for the additional charge to the 15th Military Circle Court in Phetchaburi province yesterday. 
Hua Hin bombing suspects Russaran Baima, 36, from Songkhla’s Thepha district; Asmin Katemmadee, 29, from Pattani’s Muang district; and Seri Waemamu, 31, also from Thepha district, already face charges of conspiring to damage others’ properties, possessing and using war-grade explosives and racketeering.
