President Bhandari extends condolences to Thailand over King's demise
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed her condolences over the passing away of the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej.
In a condolence message sent to Crown Prince of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn on Friday, President Bhandari extended profound sadness on the demise of the Thai monarch.
The world's longest-reigning monarch died at the Siriraj Hospital in Thailand on Thursday. He was 88.
Similarly, in a separate message sent by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat to their respective Thai counterparts, they have expressed a deep sorrow over the demise of the Thai King.
