Cambodian premier to pay homage to late Thai King this weekend

PHNOM PENH - Cambodian premier will depart here on Saturday to pay homage to the late king of Thailand.

Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a high-level delegation to Thailand on Saturday to pay homage to the late king of Thailand, His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press release, premier Hun Sen will lead his 4 deputy prime ministers and foreign minister Prak Sokhonn as well as other members of the Royal Government of Cambodia for the trip.

His Thai Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej passed away on Oct 13, in that day, the premier Hun Sen also send the condolence letter to his Thai counterpart already.

In Phnom Penh His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, Her Majesty Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk of Cambodia have also led the delegation to pay homage to him and signed the condolence book at the Royal Thai Embassy.
