Sansern denies hackers targeted his email account
GOVERNMENT Spokesman Lt-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd yesterday rejected an unconfirmed report that the Anonymous hacker group had threatened to attack his email, saying the account targeted was not his.
The group has been fighting with the government since officials proposed a single Internet gateway for the country late last year. The attacks have included government websites.
Sansern also said he rarely |used email daily – preferring to use Line.
“So, what they said [about planning to attacking the email] was untrue,” Sansern said.
