Candlelight procession and songs to pay homage to monarch in Kanchanaburi
The mayor of Tambon Wang Kha in Kanchanaburi’s Sangkhla Buri district yesterday invited members of the public to join a candlelight procession and singing event at the municipality’s walking street on Saturday in memory of His Majesty the King.
The event will start at 7.59pm with people lighting candles and singing the Royal Anthem. After that hilltribe groups and students will sing more than 10 songs composed by the King.
