Adidas unveil Krasava ball for 2017 Confederations Cup

Berlin - Adidas on Friday unveiled the Krasava ball which will be used at the 2017 Confederations Cup, featuring red jagged lines on a white surface to represent a Russian ruby.

Its name, Krasava, is an expression used by Russian sports fans to hail a great performance.
The ball will make its debut at the November 14 friendly between Confederations Cup and 2018 World Cup hosts Russia and Romania.
The Confederations Cup is played in four Russian cities between June 17 and July 2, 2017.
It brings together the champions of the six confederations of the ruling body FIFA, plus world champions Germany and hosts Russia.
Portugal (Europe), Australia (Asia), Mexico (North, central America and Caribbean), Chile (South America) and New Zealand (Oceania) are qualified, with only the African champion yet to be deterimed.
Adidas is a long-time FIFA sponsor and has also provided previous Confederations Cup such as the Cafusa (Brazil 2013, Kopanya (South Africa 2009) and Pelias (Germany 2005).
