Germany, govt signs rail cooperation pact
THE THAI MINISTRY of Transport and the German Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Wednesday signed a joint declaration of intent (JDI) on further cooperation in the development of railways.
The signing took place yesterday at the Thai ministry’s head office between Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith and German Ambassador Peter Pruegel.
With official ties between the two countries spanning more than 150 years, Thailand and Germany have a long history of cooperation in the fields of technology and knowledge-sharing.
