NBTC asked to lower telecom licence, phone number fees
THE NATIONAL Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has been asked to reduce the annual licence and monthly phone-number fees for all telecom companies.
Takorn Tantasith, secretary-general of the NBTC, said Wednesday that the request by some telecoms was part of their plan to reduce tariffs for their users.
The NBTC will consider the matter if it gets official written requests from the operators.
