Persistent flooding affects Songkhla and Surat Thani
Communities in four Songkhla districts – Ranot, Singha Nakhon, Krasae Sin and Sathing Phra – and Songkhla Lake remained inundated Wednesday although the floods were expected to abate within a week.
The area has been hit by severe flooding over the past week, receiving runoff from neighbouring Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung provinces, which has prolonged the inundation.
