NLA whips may discuss changes to interim charter
Whips of the National Legislative Assembly are scheduled to meet on Tuesday to discuss possible amendment to the post-coup interim charter to allow revision to the draft constitution that has been submitted for royal endorsement, informed sources said on Monday.
It remained unclear on what provision the further revision would be.
In early November, the government submitted the final constitutional draft for royal endorsement, and His Majesty the King has 90 days – by February 6 – to decide as to whether to endorse it.
