Chavalit recovering in hospital after fall two months ago

Former prime minister Gen Chavalit Yongchaiyudh is recovering in Phra Mongkut Hospital after he fell down in a late night two months ago, a source said Monday.

The source said Chavalit was administered with a drug to do away with his blood clot in the brain that caused his left side to become weak.
The source said Chavalit has been receiving physical therapy and learning to walk to regain strength.
The source added that the former prime minister still has clear mind and could talk and tease his close relatives and his doctors.
Doctors have diagnosed that he has almost completely recovered and he needed only to practice walking to regain his legs’ strength.
