Inscription of new charter nearly completed: Wissanu
Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said yesterday that the Bureau of Royal Scribe and Royal Decorations has nearly completed inscribing the amended draft charter in a traditional form.
Once completed, the inscribed document will be handed over to the premier who will then submit it to the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary for the King’s endorsement.
The deadline for the submission is Saturday and details of the amendment will be disclosed to the public later, Wissanu said.
The draft charter was endorsed in a referendum last year before the section concerning the monarchy was amended based on His Majesty’s observation.
